I am a big Sherrilyn Kenyon fan from the start till Bad Moon Rising and this book No Mercy. It looks like it was done in a rush to meet a deadline because not only it is short, it's also sold as a Hardcover book. The same sexual tension/ Innuendo. Not much background about this two lovers Dev and Sammia. Very disappointing. Paging Ms. Kenyon please revert to your old ways of giving us a funny, heart wrenching story with loveable characters and entertaining. We want the same flawless story plot that we can relate.Sad to say the last 2 books of Dark Hunter Series did not impressed me at all. I was very underwhelmed.

I read the first dozen or so Dark Hunter books over 10 years ago and am pleased to say I still enjoy them. I remember this is the one I caught up to the author on and had to wait to be released. Two such different people that find they work, its hard to put down. I love Tabitha and Val, there story and chemistry is great. But the overall Dark Hunter overall plot drags the ending down. For a book I was so excited to read, and was so enjoyable for the first 75%- both times I've read this book I felt a little disappointed at towards the end.
But Tabitha and Val are two of my favorites on their own.
I LOVE this book! I've always loved Valerian and Tabitha separately as individuals. They are both funny, loving, broken and awesome in their own way, and to see them together is just pure genius! You could say that opposites attract, but then again, Valerian and Tabitha have much more in common than one might think, and to seem them connect on a deeper level is intensely satisfying. This book is DEFINITELY worth checking out.
Everyone has there favorite in a series for one reason or another just because it speaks to the individual in a personal way I love the whole series I’ve read so far up to styxx. Out of them all I have 4 favorites I’ve read most of them at least twice but there are 4 that I’ve read and reread at least a dozen times and seize the night is one of them since I’ve bought it again recently my paperback copy has been retired I’ve read this 3 times I just love it the other faves are fantasy lover Acheron and now styxx the last two are graphic and hard to read in places but necessary to pull everything together a d I hated styxx the character till I read his book which was also graphic but necessary and made a character I hated understood and I ended up loving him and again I love all the books but seize the night I just loved
This is the book just after Bad Moon Rising. I have bought that book twice but have been unable to read it as I know the pain it brings. This book is a good reminder of why I used to love this series. I enjoyed seeing characters that I love like Acheron and Simi. They don't play a big part of this book, but it was nice to read about them.

Dev and Sam are wonderfully well matched. Both are fighters and protectors. They are two beings who are not supposed to be together, but drawn to each other from first sight. They compliment each other and fit perfectly. They go on a wild adventure and find unlikely friends.

This is a great read. There isn't a dull moment.

Every stubborn werehunter needs an strong, empowered woman. And the perpetual bachelor Dev never thought it would be his fate.
After being brought to New Orleans by Ash to protect Nick, Sam (Samia), drops by Sancturary only to encounter a beautiful werehunter that she can't read. Given her gift of sight, this is unbelievable. Unbelievable but true.
Dev immediately feels an unusual draw to Sam and it makes no sense. He can't control his thoughts about her, or his deep desire to protect her.

I am a big DH fan and have read every book. The last two have just been ok. I really don't think that SK has to right a book about each character. As a DH fan, I would not mind a book about the characters that already have a book and seeing them continue to battle the Daimons and other drama that comes out of their relationships. There are too many inconsistencies with the characters and too many to keep track of. Ash does not want anyone to know what he is but he basically tells his Hunters in this book that he can't be killed and he is Omnipotent. It makes not sense.

SK has to know that we all love Ash, Nick, Simi, Savitar, and even Artemis. We want to see more of them, there could be a new book that discusses them. I mean Ash is married and Artemis has done nothing get back at him. Ash finds out she and Nick are together and there could have been so much more to that scene. I really got excited to find this out, but not much done with it. And, Nick is so disrespectful to Ash in front of everyone and Ash is a god. I think it is ridiculous. I think it is ridiculous to even set us up for Nick having greater powers than Ash, it makes no sense to me. Please give us more clarity on the Nick situation. I am really starting to not like his character any longer. We don't get hardly any Simi, I just don't understand it. Thank you for not putting much in the book about Tori b/c she is definitely not a fan favorite. We just accept her bc we love Ash, but most think he could have done better with his mate.

I am going to wait a while and read the reviews before purchasing Retribution because honestly I am not excited about the characters. However, SK has lured her faithful DH fans by talking about Tori being pregnant. Does Artemis know? These people are suppose to be gods, shouldn't they know everything. Lastly, where were the steamy love scenes? They were pretty lame in this book. As I stated, I will wait to read the reviews before purchasing.
